Erick Marsán

Erick graduated as a Bachelor in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Erick’s work includes experience as a Public Policy Consultant mainly focused on Mexican education system, in which he constantly applies qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodologies at local and national level. Erick has also been involved on educational projects that include Talent Identification in youth students, classroom and learning environment indicators for schools and Prevention of School Dropouts in upper secondary and tertiary education. He participated in the National Consultation on the Educational Model 2016 and in the evaluation of the educational component of PROSPERA (a Mexican social policy), in 2017 and 2018. Erick has developed and coordinated selection processes and logistics of several extracurricular educational leadership programs. Currently, Erick coordinates a program called “Líderes en Movimiento” (Leaders on the Move) at the Interdisciplinary Program on Educational Policy and Practices (PIPE) of the Centre for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE).
