Project Dissemination Meeting with National Actors -14 November 2019 at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

In this meeting, the research team presented the main objectives and scope of the research project before the main stakeholders involved in the implementation and operation of the Mexican Model of Dual Formation (MMDF), which included civil servants of the Ministry of Education and the Subsecretariat of Upper-Secondary Education, Conalep, German Cooperation Agencies (Camexa and GIZ), and representatives of chambers of commerce and employers organizations.

Besides introducing the project, the event served as a kick-off meeting of what is intended to be a close relationship in which the research team and the stakeholders will undertake periodical knowledge exchange, findings dissemination, and cooperation actions.

The meeting allowed the research team to capture the specific needs and interests of each type of stakeholder. This will allow us to include new questions and insights that will broaden the scope of the project.

At the end of the meeting, we ran a group dynamic in which after having explained the project general and specific objectives, and methodology, we asked each of the attendees to give voice to their opinions, questions and interests.

The meeting served as both a dissemination and rapport-building platform that lays a solid foundation for the upcoming project activities.
