Sadaf Sethwala

Research Associate, Indian Institute of Management

Sadaf works on the project as a Research Associate. She holds a double Masters; MA in Development from Azim Premji University and, more recently, an MSc. in Education, Public policy and Equity from the University of Glasgow. In the past, she worked with a grassroots organization in India where she designed and implemented an educational programme aimed at improving foundational literacy by integrating place-based knowledge systems into curriculum. She has also conducted environmental education programmes in the Andaman Islands using experiential learning pedagogies.

Her current interdisciplinary research interests include understanding the complex interrelationships between education, conflict and ideas of national identity and exploring ways to transform conflict through peace education in educational spaces.
