Víctor Aramburu Cano

Víctor Aramburu Cano holds a PhD in Public Policy from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) and an MSc in Social Policy and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science. He has more than ten years of experience on design, operation and evaluation of public policies in several sectors, including economic and social development, fiscalization, and corruption-fighting. He was worked as consultant for several national and international agencies such as FAO, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, USAID, the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (Coneval), among others. At the Mexican public sector, he worked in the Ministries of the Comptrollership and Education. He has taught at Tecnológico de Monterrey at undergrad and graduate levels the courses of Regional Economics, Economic Development, Public Policy, Experimental Economics, and Qualitative Research Methods. Recently, the Mexican Supreme Audit Office awarded his PhD dissertation with the first place on the 2016 National Contest of Fiscalization and Accountability.
