Trainees’ trajectories in India: Multiple motivations and pathways under COVID-19

This report is part of an international comparative study about the implementation and enactment of the German model of dual apprenticeships in India and Mexico. Drawing on interviews with the beneficiaries of the programme, this summary explores the motivations and trajectories of Indian students in joining the dual system of training. It also examines some of the mediating factors that explain the different impact of the dual system of training on their educational and work experiences.
